About the role:
An opportunity exists for motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join Noosa Private Hospital as a casual After-Hours Nurse Manager. In this key after-hours leadership role, you will support both clinical and non-clinical teams, coordinate patient flow, ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe patient care, and oversee the operational management of staff and the facility. You will be supported by an on-call executive leadership team while playing a vital role in maintaining exceptional standards of care and service.
Your responsibilities will also include:

Support and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, processes, and services.

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.

Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Clinical Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery.

Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

Work closely with on-shift doctors to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.

Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services, contributing to strategic goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
You will also bring;

Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care.

Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice

Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Highly desirable - Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
