We are an Australian studio making premium wallpaper
and fine-art prints that people build their homes around. We print and
cut our custom wallpaper in-house, and we are looking for one person
to own that process end to end.
This is a precision production role, not a creative one. Your day is
about keeping many print jobs moving in the right order and making
sure every panel that leaves us is flawless.
What you'll do:
- Manage what gets printed and when. We run multiple products through
the same printers on a set workflow that shifts constantly based on
order age and priority, and you keep it all straight.
- Cut every wallpaper order so the panels join perfectly, with no
headstrikes, banding or other print flaws.
- Act as our final quality gate. Our designs can look very similar to
each other, and the team member who sets files up for print is human
and can make mistakes. You are ground zero: the person who makes sure
the right design reaches the right customer and that no error ever
leaves the building.
What you need:
- Sharp attention to detail and the intelligence to hold several jobs
in your head at once without dropping any.
- Strong time management and the ability to reprioritise on the fly.
- Confident operating our cutting equipment accurately and consistently (full training provided).
You do not need wallpaper experience. It is a niche craft and we train
for it. We are hiring for focus, accuracy and judgement.
Please note: our busiest period is the lead-up to Christmas. This role
has a blackout on annual leave from 11 November to 11 January, so you
will need to be available and comfortable taking no leave across that
window.
This role is classified at Level 3 under the Graphic Arts Award.
To apply: in one short paragraph, tell us about a time your attention
to detail caught a mistake before it reached a customer or went out
the door. Applications without an answer to this will not be
considered.
Pay: From $27.08 per hour
Work Location: In person
