About the role
The Physiotherapist will provide in-house treatments to our patients recovering from injuries sustained from surgery, illness, ageing or disability.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing high quality and evidence-based treatment to patients in the comfort of their homes.
- Assessing and planning physiotherapy programs for clients.
- Collaborating with clients, carers and relevant service providers within the multidisciplinary team or externally as appropriate.
- Establishing/reviewing care plans and provide, education, training and support that reflect the client’s goal and facilitates self-management.
- Adopting professional judgment & skills in the provision of the services and in the management of work practices & time.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current police and working with children’s check.
- Current New South Wales drivers licence.
- Strong administration and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team as well as independently.
- Experience working as a physiotherapist desired.
- Demonstrated understanding of the complex needs of elderly clients, and adults with physical disabilities or neurological conditions (highly regarded).
