The Role
Senior Technical Project Manager – Family Violence.
The Family Violence Team is team responsible for the planning and delivery of the organisation’s risk based prioritised enterprise program, working across each Group within the organisation.
You will play a crucial part in the management of the initiation, planning, delivery and handover phases of a number of endorsed projects within the Family Violence program, requiring an uplift of improvement across technology, data and process. You will use your technology expertise and knowledge to provide expert project management to various projects and demonstrate the ability to implement at an Enterprise level, aligned to our Enterprise Delivery Framework with projects at a medium to large scale. There will also be projects that do not always involve technology related outcomes, so transferable skills to different project types along with an understanding of process improvement will be advantageous.
Experience with delivering projects across a number of systems, such as Oracle CC&B, Salesforce, Maximo, GIS is highly desirable.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Use skill and judgement to deliver projects on time within budget across multiple large projects, including but not limited to technology, data and process improvement project typologies

Manage stakeholders, including project team members and service providers to achieve agreed goals and outcomes

Facilitate workshops to achieve insights into existing pain points and codesign solutions for future state implementation

Manage commercial and contractual aspects of projects, including project budgets and relationships with existing YVW vendors

Report project expenditure against budget and forecast, providing accurate and concise project financial reports to the FV Snr Program Manager

Manage project communications effectively, including team and stakeholder meetings

Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure any changes that affect cost, time or scope are understood, documented, and approved before they are accepted
What we’re Looking for
- Have extensive Senior Project Management experience with delivering technology/data projects at an Enterprise level (5+ years experience in a Senior position)

An understanding of Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC/PDSA highly desirable as you will work very closely with a Snr Process Analyst
- Possess proven expertise in developing standards, processes and supporting tools

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Be curious, passionate, positive with a desire to learn and inspire others.

Demonstrate advanced strengths in personal responsibility, flexibility, time management, resilience, and emotional intelligence

You do not need prior experience in a family violence role, but will have the ability to demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder engagement at all levels of an organisation, and a high level of emotional maturity appropriate to this work
Role Sensitivity

At times, this role will involve exposure to conversations and written material about real victim‑survivors’ lived experiences of family violence. This maybe triggering for some people and may not be suitable for everyone. As with all roles at YVW, you will be well supported, however, this role carries complexities not typically present in general project work.
