Kaplan Distributors is a family-owned business based in Sunshine West that has been operating for over 40 years.
We supply premium washroom and hygiene products - including paper products , soaps, sanitisers and cleaning consumables - to commercial customers across greater Melbourne. We proudly distribute trusted global brands including Kimberly-Clark Professional, Tork, Halyard and SC Johnson Professional.
We have a position for a multidrop delivery driver with some supporting warehouse activities.
This is a full-time on-going role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in providing great customer service and wants the security of a long-term position with a respected family business.
About the Role
· Unloading in-bound goods deliveries and ensuring the correct items have been received. A forklift license would be an advantage however training and a license will be provided for the right candidate.
· Picking stock and loading delivery vehicles by forklift and/or by hand.
· Conducting deliveries across Melbourne and the CBD on a daily basis. This includes unloading stock to storerooms on commercial premises and compliance with any customer site requirements. You'll interact with our customers every day, so a friendly, professional attitude and great communication skills are essential.
· Occasional deliveries to regional Victoria as required.
· Picking and preparing orders for customer collection or collection by courier.
· Customer service and exceeding expectations are key to the businesses’ ongoing success. As the face of Kaplan Distributors, you'll build positive relationships with our customers through reliable, professional service every day.
· You’ll be driving one of our modern Toyota HiAce vans.
· Once trained, you'll manage your own daily delivery run while working as part of a supportive team.
· Hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work is required.
· Ensuring compliance requirements and OH&S are adhered to at all times.
About You
Previous delivery or warehouse experience is highly regarded, however we are happy to train someone with the right attitude, work ethic and commitment.

You will also need
· Knowledge of Melbourne and greater Melbourne areas and the ability to confidently navigate using a GPS.
· Current drivers’ license with a safe driving record. No heavy vehicle license is required.
· Be punctual and reliable.
· Focus on quality control and attention to detail.
· Proven organisational skills.
· The role involves regular manual handling of cartons weighing up to 25kg, so you'll need to be physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on work throughout the day.
· Hold a current forklift license or be willing to or be willing to obtain one (training provided for the right candidate).
· Be willing to undergo a National Police Check.
