PSI Fluid Power is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to become a key member of our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play an integral role in keeping our finance and office operations running smoothly while helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
This isn't a role where you'll be confined to one task or one department-you'll become a trusted member of a collaborative team where your ideas, initiative and problem-solving skills are genuinely valued.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for a broad range of bookkeeping and administration duties including:

Processing supplier statements and invoices

Sending customer statements and allocating payments

Following up outstanding accounts

Managing accounting correspondence
-
Processing freight, utilities and operational invoices

Managing customer procurement portals
-
Supporting OH&S administration and compliance
-
Liaising with IT providers and external service partners
-
Setting up new customer accounts
-
Providing administrative support across the business
-
Assisting with process improvements and system implementation
As you become familiar with the business, you'll also take ownership of:

Bank reconciliations
-
Supplier payments
-
Weekly payroll processing
-
Superannuation payments
-
BAS reconciliations and reporting
-
Year-end preparation for external accountants
We're looking for someone who

Has experience in a broad bookkeeping or finance administration role

Enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Is organised, proactive and highly detail-oriented
-
Can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
-
Has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
-
Takes pride in delivering accurate work

Loves solving problems and improving processes

Understands that in a small business, teamwork is everything
A bookkeeping or finance qualification will be highly regarded, along with experience across payroll, reconciliations and general office administration.
