A luxury European home furnishing brand has an opportunity for an experienced and professional Showroom Consultant to join their small and friendly team. They are looking for an experienced design professional who can communicate confidently and build rapport quickly; respond to customer needs and act in a professional manner to represent the brand and support sales.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover) based in our Armadale showroom, offering the opportunity to work with premium European furniture and a discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service

Provide expert advice to customers in interior decoration including fabrics, wallpaper and lighting

Complete and process customer orders and keep customer informed of scheduling

Liaise with suppliers and freight companies as required

Be involved in social media support if you have an interest in this area

Help maintain the professional and tidy presentation of the Showroom.
About you:
- Confident communication skills and professional manner with the ability to interact with a range of new and longstanding customers

Previous interior decoration experience with fabrics, wallpaper and lighting

Showroom sales experience

Confident administration skills and ability to learn new systems and processes

Able to commit to three days per week including a regular Saturday roster – all workdays are 9.30 am – 5 pm
