As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Principal Hygienist / COH to join our team and provide technical leadership across our Occupational Hygiene services.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join one of Western Australia's leading occupational hygiene consultancies in a senior technical leadership role. Working alongside our Hygiene Services Manager, you'll lead complex client projects, mentor consultants and provide expert technical leadership.
The role combines consulting, client liaison, project leadership, mentoring, field work and supporting the manager to meet organisational requirements.
What You'll Be Doing

Technical Leadership: Lead complex occupational hygiene projects and investigations.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships and support business growth.
- Organisational requirements: Support the Hygiene team and Manager with delivering organisational and corporate requirements.
- Exposure Monitoring: Design, conduct and oversee workplace monitoring programs.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare and review high-quality reports and recommendations.
- Mentoring: Lead the internal development of technical staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive technical excellence and innovation.
Who We're Looking For
Essential
-
Education: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Science or a related discipline.
- Membership: AIOH full membership.
- Industry Certifications: MAQT (Hygiene Sampler Registration) and Noise Officer.
- Experience: Extensive Occupational Hygiene consulting experience, including leading complex investigations, project delivery and technical report review.
- Leadership: Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Reporting: Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Licence: Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
- Right to Work: Australian working rights.
Highly Regarded

Qualifications: Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) (or ready to apply).
- Industry Certifications: MAQO (Mine Air Quality Officer) and Registered Noise, including applicable law exams.
- Business Development: Proposal writing, tender preparation and client relationship development.
