Paramount Coffee Project is looking for a Venue Supervisor! If you have a commitment to delivering top-notch service, and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for guests, then this could be for you.
Working closely with the Venue Manager as the 2IC, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and assisting with leading a dedicated and passionate team.
This role is a perfect fit for someone with previous experience as a supervisor, or someone with experience in hospitality who's looking to step up into a management role.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the management of day-to-day cafe operations
- Assisting with stock and internal process management
- Collaborating with the venue manager to effectively lead the team and improve processes and systems
- Management of the business in the Venue Managers absence.
Applicant requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: able to confidently talk with customers and employees, and manage challenging situations as they arise in a professional manor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example
- Ability to effectively supervise the team and report issues to upper management
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and roll up your sleeves
- Barista skills and previous specialty coffee experience a plus
- RSA certification a must
