We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team at Next Door Cronulla.
You will need to have completed an apprenticeship or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.
At least 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant kitchen is required as well as experience in supervising other kitchen staff, menu planning and managing food budgets.
You must be able to show:

Duties include but not limited to:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations & food preparations
- Develop & update menus with seasonal dishes
- Preparing meals & food items according to the menu
- Manage mise en place and section efficiency during service
- Supervising and assisting cooks in the preparation of dishes
- Ensure effective ordering & stock control
- Ensuring that food health & safety regulations are met at all times
- Handle high volume service during peak hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
