Maranatha Ministry Incorporated
Over the past years, our Indonesian church community and discipleship member has grown. We
are now looking for a gifted leader to build and expand the great work that has been established.
Maranatha is an ethnic Indonesia church that has been started since 2004. Started with just a
few members, now we has grown significantly to approximately 100 family members in our church.
We are seeking to employ a Religious Assistant(Pastoral worker) to work on our ministry as a leader to our team and also a shepherd to our congregation.
Religious Assistant (Pastoral worker)
We are looking for a highly experienced pastoral worker to join our team. This position reports to the Head Pastor. The expected start date of this position will be as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Building and leading our church ministry, daily and more widely within the community
- Lead in very activities and programs that your church does.
- Develop strategies and processes to care for our people as God grows the church.
- Provide pastoral care and counselling to the congregation as needed.
- Participate in water baptism
· Participate in building an evangelism program to outreach people.
The Must-Have Requirements:
- At least Certificate IV in Ministry
- Having Diploma of Ministry will be an advantage
- Proven ability to build and lead a team
- Support the Head Pastor in performing the service including the worship, preaching, pastoral care, teaching, counselling, community outreach, funeral, water baptizing, etc.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for growth and processes to offer the best pastoral care and discipleship as possible.
- Good Communication skills, must be able to speak Indonesian (it is an Indonesian congregation)
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Have at least three years’ experience working as a youth pastor
Expected Salary:
The successful candidate will receive a gross annual salary between AUD75,000 to AUD80,000 depending on the skills and experience.
