JOB TITLE: English Tutor
CENTRE LOCATION: 3/85 The Promenade, Mount Pleasant WA 6153, Australia
What you will be doing:
- Tutoring English to a group of 4 students per session
- Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self esteem and self worth
-Use our state of the art software to plan and conduct lessons - saving you on prep time!
- Use your strong rapport building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents.
- Provide verbal and written feedback to parents.
Your requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Teaching or Education (or similar)
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional and personable manner
- Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality
- Confidence using software and computers
- Genuine love for learning and teaching
- Reliable, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills

- Be paid above award rates – $70 per lesson, comprising a 60-minute teaching session plus 20 minutes of paid planning and administration time.

Hours of work:
We teach students after school on weekdays and Saturday morning.
Monday - Thursday
Lesson 1- 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Lesson 2- 4:40pm to 5:40pm
Lesson 3- 5:50pm to 6:50pm
Saturday
Lesson 1- 8:30am to 9:30am
Lesson 2- 9:40am to 10:40am
Lesson 3- 10:50am to 11:50am
The ideal candidate will be available at least two days per week.
