Bright Beans is seeking an experienced and hands-on Venue Manager to lead operations at our Burwood site, located within a major Victorian Big Build project.
This is a unique hospitality leadership opportunity overseeing an established and growing workplace canteen that serves the project's workforce each day. As Bright Beans expands into a second location, we are looking for a strong operational leader who can take ownership of the site, lead the team, and help drive the next stage of growth.
Working closely with the Owner, Supervisor and Head Chef, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the operation, ensuring high standards of food service, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being part of the daily operation while also managing the bigger picture. You'll lead a small team, maintain service standards, manage staffing and stock, and help implement systems that support the continued growth of the business.
The position is offered at 0.9 FTE, with every second Monday off.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily site operations and service delivery.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Deliver excellent customer service to a regular workforce customer base.
- Manage rostering, staffing levels and labour costs.
- Maintain food safety, workplace health and safety, and site compliance requirements.
- Monitor sales, costs and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and profitability.
- Assist in developing systems and processes to support the expansion of the business.
