About the role
CUSS is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our dynamic team in Newtown! This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including scheduling, inventory management and staff supervision
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Analyse sales data and develop strategies to improve store performance and meet key business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional campaigns and in-store events
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management
- Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
- Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
- Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
- Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
- Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail/hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, KPI tracking and staff management
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver exceptional in-store experiences
- Proficient in data analysis and using insights to drive business decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Passion for the retail/hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
