Your new role:
Provide operational and professional nursing leadership for a unique service that delivers timely emergency care to residents of aged care facilities across Metro South Health. Working collaboratively with emergency departments, residential aged care providers, general practitioners and multidisciplinary teams, you'll influence healthcare delivery well beyond the walls of the hospital. In this role you will:
Lead clinical governance, operational performance and service improvement across CAREPACT (Comprehensive Aged Residential Emergency & Partners in Assessment, Care and Treatment).
Drive innovative models of care that improve access, quality and patient outcomes for older people.
Build strong partnerships while leading workforce development, strategic planning and financial management.
About you:
You're an experienced and inspirational nursing leader who is passionate about improving healthcare for older people. You thrive in complex environments, bring a collaborative leadership style, and have the ability to translate strategy into meaningful clinical outcomes. You'll bring:
Proven experience leading nursing services, clinical governance and organisational change.
Strong strategic, financial and operational management skills, including performance and workforce planning.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build partnerships across healthcare settings.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
