The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) manages the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), one of Australia's greatest assets. The MCG is host to more than 70 major events annually attracting over three million patrons and visitors.

The Club Services, Sport and Heritage department at the MCC is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences across the Australian Sports Museum, MCC Museum and MCG Tours.
A newly created opportunity has arisen within this team for a Tourism Products and Experiences Manager. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Membership and Tourism, this role leads the development and growth of MCG tourism products and experiences, driving innovation and positioning the MCG as a world-class destination for domestic and international visitors.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the development of new and enhanced MCG tourism products and experiences, with a clear focus on innovation, differentiation and commercial viability
- Manage and direct the Tourism Product Development Executive in the research, design and development of tourism products, ensuring alignment with the broader MCG tourism strategy
- Manage and direct the Tourism Business Development Executive in identifying, developing and converting international, interstate, regional and local market opportunities for MCG tourism products
- Build and sustain productive relationships with key internal stakeholders across the Museum and Heritage Services team, Commercial Operations and broader MCC
- Establish and maintain relationships with external tourism industry partners, sporting bodies, government tourism agencies and commercial operators
- Lead, manage and develop direct reports, providing clear direction, regular feedback, coaching and formal performance reviews
This role is well suited to someone with a strong commercial mindset who thrives on identifying new opportunities and bringing innovative tourism experiences to life. You'll bring demonstrated experience in tourism product development or business development, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to build productive relationships across industry.
