About the Role
Reporting to the Group General Manager, you will lead our Victorian Security operations, providing strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of client sites.
You'll be responsible for developing and supporting Security Operations Managers, maintaining exceptional client relationships, driving financial performance and ensuring operational excellence across every aspect of the business.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, clients and operational teams to support business growth, mobilise new contracts and continually improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Security Operations Managers.

Drive operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of security contracts.

Build trusted relationships with key clients and act as the senior escalation point for operational matters.

Lead the mobilisation and transition of new security contracts, ensuring a seamless client experience.

Manage financial performance, labour costs and operational budgets.

Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and client outcomes.

Support tender submissions and business development activities by providing operational expertise.

Ensure compliance with security legislation, licensing requirements, WHS obligations and company standards.

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, engagement and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with senior leaders and support functions to achieve strategic business objectives.
About You
You're an experienced operational leader who combines commercial thinking with exceptional people leadership.
To be successful, you'll bring:

Significant experience leading large, multi-site security operations.

Demonstrated success managing complex security portfolios across multiple client sites.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs and financial performance.

Proven experience leading operational teams through growth, change and contract mobilisation.

Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, incident management, compliance and operational governance.

Outstanding leadership, coaching and communication skills with the ability to build engaged, high-performing teams.

Current Victorian Private Security Licence, current First Aid and CPR certification, a National Police Check and any other relevant industry licences and certifications.

A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to regularly engage with frontline teams and clients across Victoria.
