Krio Krush is a leading Australian food manufacturing business committed to delivering quality products, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially focused Senior Accountant to join our Kingsgrove leadership team.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, this pivotal role will lead the financial control function of the business, providing accurate financial reporting, strong governance, manufacturing cost analysis, and working capital management. You will also lead and develop our AP/AR Officer while partnering closely with Group Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.

What You'll Be Doing
Financial Control & Reporting
- Lead month-end close and reporting processes.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, journals, provisions, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to leaders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Manufacturing Costing & Business Analysis
- Manage product costing and profitability analysis.
- Oversee inventory valuation and stock accounting.
- Analyse manufacturing variances, including labour, materials, yield, waste and production performance.
- Support pricing decisions through financial and commercial analysis.
- Monitor and report on key operational and financial KPIs.
Cashflow & Working Capital Management
- Manage cashflow reporting and liquidity visibility.
- Drive improvements in debtor, creditor and inventory management.
- Oversee banking, reconciliations and payment controls.
- Partner with operational leaders to strengthen working capital performance.
Compliance & Governance
- Support audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance and risk management practices across the business.
Leadership & Business Partnering
- Lead, coach and develop the AP/AR Officer.
- Build strong working relationships across Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Sales and People & Culture.
- Provide practical financial insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and experience supporting a manufacturing or FMCG operation.
Essential Experience
· CPA or CA qualified
· Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
· Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting, reporting and financial control
· Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations and general ledger management
· Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or supply chain environments
· Experience using ERP and payroll systems
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Employment Hero.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory management.
