We are looking for TWO people to join our Asbestos insulation team on a permanent basis from the AMPOL refinery. Ideally, we are looking for people with:
- Previous oil & gas industry experience
- A class asbestos ticket
- Experience supervising asbestos removals
- Experience with sheet metal fabrications, lagging and cladding
- Foamglas experience
- Ideally you will have Working at Heights, CSE, FLT license, EWP/Scissor lift
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily insulation and asbestos removal activities to meet project schedules.
- Conduct pre-start and toolbox meetings to align teams with safety protocols and job priorities.
- Allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with asbestos removal codes of practice and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect and verify insulation installations and asbestos removal work to meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of asbestos handling, removal, and disposal in accordance with regulations.
- Support the preparation of work packs, permits, and associated documentation
- Ensure insulation and asbestos removal tasks are executed to client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Ensure the weekly schedule is delivered and updated daily in line with company KPI targets.
- Record & communicate any delays that impact the work scheduled each week
- Conduct CR and Client audits when required
- Comply with CR policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure CR employees adhere to CR and client policies and procedures at all times.
