Business Development & Operations Coordinator
Join Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies as our Business Development & Operations Coordinator – Utilities and play a key role in supporting projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with our Global Utilities Lead, you'll coordinate customer projects from enquiry through to delivery, bringing together Sales, Engineering, Production, Logistics and Manufacturing to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, fast-paced position that sits at the centre of our Utilities business. You'll be responsible for coordinating multiple customer projects, managing project timelines, facilitating communication between internal teams and customers, and ensuring manufacturing and delivery schedules align with customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating customer enquiries, quotations and project documentation
Managing project schedules and customer communications
Liaising with Engineering to coordinate technical documentation and approvals
Working closely with Production Planning to align manufacturing with customer commitments
Coordinating domestic and international freight and delivery requirements
Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and keeping stakeholders informed
Supporting reporting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working across multiple teams and thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to travel as required.
What you'll bring
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments
Experience coordinating technical documentation, procurement, logistics or supply chain activities
Experience using ERP and CRM systems
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, utilities or construction industries (preferred)
An understanding of production planning or manufacturing environments (preferred)
