Requirements:
- Experience in a similar kitchen role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of kitchen hygiene practices.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including the dishwashing area and storage spaces.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by delivering ingredients and assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Please note: Must be available 7 days a week for a rotating roster including nights.
