Casual Hotel Services Roles – Aged Care (Innaloo)
To meet growing operational needs, we are seeking experienced Hotel Services staff to join our team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity to work flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends —availability for both is essential.
Located in Innaloo, Brightwater Birralee is a welcoming, suburban home supporting 30 permanent residents and 30 Transition Care clients.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role supporting essential services within our facility, including kitchen, cleaning, and laundry duties.
Key Responsibilities & Experience
To be successful, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role (aged care or similar setting preferred)
- Experience with commercial kitchen duties
- Knowledge of cooking and food preparation, including safe handling and presentation
- Understanding of food safety practices , including temperature control and danger zones
- Familiarity with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) levels
- Experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
- A caring, positive attitude with a genuine commitment to supporting older people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and problem-solve effectively
Mandatory Requirements
- Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends
- Current National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
