ced Personal Care Attendants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients across Sydney’s
Eastern Suburbs, including
Bondi, Randwick, Maroubra, Coogee, Kensington, Kingsford, Rose Bay, Double Bay and surrounding areas.
This is an opportunity for a compassionate and experienced care professional who is passionate about supporting clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life at home.
About the Role:
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide personalised support to clients with their daily living needs, including:
- Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Supporting clients with showering, bathing, dressing and grooming
- Toileting and continence management
- Assisting clients with oral hygiene routines
- Medication prompting
- Supporting clients with eating and drinking
- Assisting with mobility aids and equipment based on individual client needs
- Supporting clients living with dementia, including using appropriate strategies to respond to resistance to care
- Providing catheter and stoma care where required
- Providing companionship, emotional support and assistance with community access where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant, Support Worker, or similar role within aged care, disability support, or home and community care
- Experience providing personal care and supporting clients with complex care needs
- Confidence assisting with catheter and stoma care (desirable)
- Experience supporting clients living with dementia and understanding strategies to promote positive care outcomes
- A relevant qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, Nursing, or a related field
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client appointments
- Flexibility and availability to support short-hour services across the Eastern Suburbs
