We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our Gladstone Clinic on a permanent full-time basis.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare administrator or senior administrator looking to take the next step in their career and grow into a management role. Working closely with an experienced Practice Manager, you'll gain valuable leadership exposure while playing a key role in the day-to-day success of the clinic.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the operational leadership of the clinic and ensuring exceptional service delivery for our clients and patients. As the Practice Manager's second-in-command, you'll take ownership of clinic operations and lead the administration team, particularly during periods when the Practice Manager is away.
This role offers a unique blend of hands-on administration, team leadership and operational management, making it ideal for someone ready to expand their skills and build a long-term career in healthcare leadership.

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the clinic

Lead, support and supervise the administration team

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management activities

Promote and maintain a high standard of customer service

Support reception and general administration functions

Manage medical bookings and scheduling

Oversee results management processes

Conduct preliminary medical assessments

Administer health questionnaires

Process invoicing and related administrative tasks

Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture

Previous administration experience, ideally within healthcare or a similar service environment

Experience supervising, mentoring or leading staff

Experience with Clarity and/or Best Practice software (highly regarded)
