Casual Section Waiter - McKinnon Hotel
The McKinnon Hotel is a well-established local favourite, delivering classic pub meals and a welcoming atmosphere to the Southeast community. With a busy front bar, bistro, and year-round functions, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Section Waiter to join the team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering solid, consistent service. You’ll be working across the bistro floor and supporting bar operations when required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running a section in the bistro with efficient and attentive service
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately
- Supporting the bar team during peak periods
- Assisting with functions and general venue operations
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
What we’re looking for:
- Previous hospitality experience preferred (minimum 1 year ideal)
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to handle busy service periods without dropping standards
- Flexibility to work across both floor and bar
Availability requirements:
- Must be available weekends, and Thursdays (essential)
Additional requirements:
- Valid working rights in Australia

Pay: $32.31 – $45.24 per hour
