Acute / Sub Acute / Care Communities roles available - Full or Part time
About the Roles
Working under the direction and supervision of Allied Health professionals, Grade 2 AHAs will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care in partnership with patients, families, and carers.
These roles involve delivery of individual / group therapy interventions within our Acute, Sub Acute and Care Community (residential aged care) AH Teams. AHAs support Allied Health Professionals to provide high-quality therapy, contribute to smooth daily operations, and play a key role in patient and resident therapy interventions
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy programs as delegated by AHPs
- Support AHP and AHA Teams
- Undertake delegated tasks under AHP direction
- Communicate clearly within the team to support safe, consistent care
- Monitor and report patient/resident progress
- Maintain strong communication within the team
- Administrative tasks
- Cleaning monitoring equipment
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance (or working towards)
- Ability to deliver programs under AHP supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to learning and service improvement
