GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Administrator to support our contracts team in our Brisbane CBD Office .
This role require a self-starter, who thrives in a dynamic team environment, has a commitment to quality, great attention to detail and a proven ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Planning, documenting and coordinating tasks related to the procurement of goods, services and vendor contracts ensuring that all parties are complicit with the terms of the contract

Liaise with clients, suppliers, manufacturers and service provider personnel professionally, ethically and efficiently

Preparation of tender packages including managing the tender process in collaboration with the Package Engineers, Contract Manager and Client Representatives

Writing formal correspondence relating to tender addendums, and responding to RFT queries in a timely manner

Record and maintain a filing system for all receipts pertaining to vendors, materials and services

Monitor the procurement schedule in accordance with the overall delivery schedule

Be the first point of call for any queries that arise between partiers to interpret the terms of the contract to resolve any issues before seeking external help
Skills/Qualifications: ( all essential )

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a contract administration or similar position

Experience with computerised procurement and logistics systems, and their operation and applications

Have a basic understanding of Australian Standard Suite of Contracts Terms & Conditions (AS4911 & AS4000)

Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners

Ability to analyse problems and strategize best possible solutions

Proficient across the Microsoft office suite
Desirable:

Tertiary Qualifications in Contracts, Business Administration or related field

Experience working in the mining/construction industry
