We are currently seeking rebar MIG Welders for a busy precast column and panel manufacturing facility in Pakenham! If you are seeking stable work with lots of hours close to home, this job could be right for you!
About the job:
- MIG Welding steel rebar to create cage structures such as (Pile cages, D-Walls and columns) - Essentially Tack welding
- Reading plans and drawings to create various cage structures.
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Co-ordinating with steelfixers, labourers and management.
- Using overhead cranes to load and move stock.
- Setting up jigs for welding.
About you:
- Available Monday to Friday
- Previous MIG Welding experience is required
- Able to interpret plans and drawings to create a final product.
- Previous experience in a precast environment is heavily considered
- Able to work solo and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights
