About the Role
During a time of exciting transformation, there is an opportunity for a Treatment Room Team Leader to join our busy practice. This practice caters to its community and patients with a wide array of onsite services.
In this role you conduct a range of clinical duties including health assessments and immunisations, assist the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the provision of services within a Medical Centre's treatment room and assist Health Care Professionals
- Conduct a range of clinical duties with direction from treating HCPs including; pathology collection, vaccinations, monitoring of ECG, wound dressings, change of linen, clean and sterilise equipment
- Build relationships to create patient ease prior to procedures or treatments
- Triage patients and assist HCPs in procedures
- Assist the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
- Role Model a safe working environment by ensuring employees adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

About You
To be successful in this role:
- You will be a Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting; previous experience leading a successful team will be highly regarded, though we will support you with further development if required
- You will be passionate about health care and improving the lives of those in our community.
- You will play a key role in our medical centre team and evolving business, with the initiative to made decisions and work independently when required.
- You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues both in person and via clinical communication systems.
- We require you to have unrestricted Australian work rights and to supply evidence of your vaccination history and immunity.
