Female Disability Support Worker, Community Access (Flexible Schedule)

Harmony House Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support a female participant with community access.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others build independence while engaging in meaningful activities within the community.
Shift Details
- Day: Flexible, either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (to be agreed upon)
- Hours: 3-hour shift
- Casual position with opportunities for additional hours as they become available.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting the participant with community outings and appointments.
- Providing social support and companionship.
- Encouraging independence and participation in community activities.
- Ensuring the participant’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort throughout the shift.
- Completing accurate shift notes and documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Female support worker (participant preference).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and professional approach.
