How to Apply
Please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter that gives us a little insight into you, your interest in People & Culture and what excites you about the opportunity.
As part of your cover letter, we’d love for you to include a short paragraph on why a career in People & Culture interests you, the words 'People Matter' somewhere naturally in your letter and your favourite Chobani flavour (or product!) and why.
Inspired by Australia’s great people and vibrant food culture, Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy alongside the Chobani brand. Flash forward 15 years and Chobani is Australia’s #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country. At Chobani it’s always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege.
Chobani Australia is building the next chapter of growth – investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day.
Yogurt is one of the fastest growing categories in Australian grocery, driven by high protein, healthy options and convenient formats – creating genuine growth opportunity for our customers and our team...and that's where you come in!
The Opportunity
This is one of those rare grad roles where you’ll learn fast because you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on and make an impact from day one.
You’ll sit at the centre of our People & Communications team, owning the day-to-day processes that keep everything moving - contracts, onboarding, recruitment coordination and systems. It’s (very) fast-moving, there’s plenty going on, and you’ll be trusted to take responsibility early.
You’ll start by building strong foundations and getting the detail right, supporting a consistent, compliant and positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
If you’re someone who has agency, thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes prides in the quality of their work and is looking for real accountability – this will give you a genuine head start in a career in People, Culture and Communications.
Key Responsibilities
This role sits at the centre of our People & Culture operations - making sure the fundamentals are enhanced, while helping to deliver a consistent and positive experience for everyone the team interacts with and supports.
You’ll spend your time keeping core processes running well and gradually building exposure across the function. This will include:
- Preparing and managing employee documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Keeping employee data accurate and up to date across systems to support reporting and decision-making.
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and helping to deliver a smooth new starter experience from offer through to day one.
- Maintaining and updating position descriptions, interview guides and organisational data so they stay relevant and useful.
- Refresh Intranet content (e.g. performance, recruitment, learning, wellbeing guidance), ensuring it’s current, clear and easy to use.
- Supporting people policies, programs and compliance processes.
Spot better ways of doing things and help simplify or improve processes over time.
-
This is a fantastic opportunity for that lucky someone to get involved in projects aligned to their interests, with the opportunity to build exposure across different areas of the P&C function.
