We are looking for a talented Dock Manager possessing natural leadership and communication abilities, who is a quick learner with a great work ethic to join the GoBoat team on the Yarra River in Melbourne.
The position is best suited to a forward thinker who is proactive, loves being outdoors and thrives on a challenge.
GoBoat is a self-drive picnic boat hire experience in central Melbourne on the Yarra River. GoBoat offers unique sustainable experiences with a focus on social interaction and the feeling of freedom. Customers are the captains of their own boat, charting their own adventure, joined by their own crew.
The role:
We are looking for a candidate who must:
- Be able to lead our excellent crew
- Be proactive, self-motivated and tenacious
- Have first-rate customer service skills
- Be resourceful and seek out solutions to problems
- Want to work outdoors and on the water
- Be flexible and rise to any challenge thrown their way
- Be available to work weekends as well as weekdays (rotating roster)
- Have a boat licence (Coxwain grade 3,2 or 1 Near Coastal) and previous boating experience
- Have previous experience or a personality suited to sales, marketing and events
