Work hours: Full-time or part-time; centre operating hours are 7:00 am–6:00 pm with a rotating roster of morning, afternoon and full-day shifts.

The role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our toddler room (ages 2 to 3½ years). You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate programs, support children’s social and emotional growth, partner with families, and contribute to maintaining National Quality Standard practices.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement and evaluate play-based educational programs linked to EYLF outcomes
- Provide safe, inclusive, and nurturing care for toddlers (2–3½ years)
- Observe and document children’s learning and developmental progress
- Maintain a compliant, well-resourced learning environment consistent with NQS
- Support transitions, positive behaviour guidance and family communication
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve practice and centre routines
Selection criteria / qualifications
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (minimum) or Diploma (preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in a toddlers room (2–3½ years)
- Solid knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver educational programs and assessments
- Current Working with Children Check / WWCC and first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills, a team-player attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education
