About the role
As the Learning Experience Design Lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end design strategy, content development, aesthetic quality and ultimate success of learning solutions across V/Line.
You will use your specialist expertise to design, build, and continuously improve high quality blended and digital learning experiences that develop skills, knowledge, and behaviours across V/Line.
Applying your expertise in learning design, contemporary methodologies and best practice to develop effective, innovative and sustainable learning solutions.
Working collaboratively within the Learning and Capability team you will set the standard for design quality, establish design principles and frameworks, and help build the broader team's capability to produce exceptional learning experiences.
Key accountabilities include:
Apply the full learning development lifecycle to every solution, from brief and needs analysis through to evaluation and continuous improvement.
Design high-quality blended learning experiences, including digital, facilitated and experiential, grounded in learning science and best-practice instructional design.
Develop eLearning modules, microlearning, videos, animations, toolkits, job aids and assessments using contemporary authoring tools.
Consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify capability gaps and training needs, conducting structured needs analysis to uncover true performance drivers, then partner with SMEs to extract and translate complex content into clear, engaging, and accessible learning solutions.
Use evaluation data, stakeholder feedback, and audit findings to lead targeted content improvement cycles reviewing, rebuilding, and continuously refining existing programs where required.
Location & Travel Considerations
This role is based out of our Melbourne CBD office with some requirement for occasional travel to our regional depots.
