An established and growing handyman business is looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to join our growing subcontractor network.
We are an industry-leading handyman service with a strong customer base and a consistent flow of work across Melbourne’s eastern and surrounding suburbs.
We are looking for someone who is either:
An experienced handyman already operating their own business and looking for additional work; or
A skilled tradesperson who wants to build their own business but doesn't yet have the time, money or experience required to generate a consistent flow of customers.
What We Offer
We generate the customer leads and manage the quoting and customer acquisition process.
You focus on what you do best — completing quality work and providing excellent customer service.
Initially, the workload may be limited. However, for the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to quickly build a full-time workload in a short period of time.
Work may include:
General handyman work
Property maintenance
Carpentry
Repairs
Renovations
Installation work
Painting and patching
Fencing and gates
Decking
The work will vary depending on your skills and experience.

The Ideal Person
You will:
Have strong handyman or trade experience
Be reliable and punctual
Take pride in the quality of your work
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Be able to work independently and in a team
Have your own vehicle and tools
Hold an ABN
Hold appropriate public liability insurance
Be legally entitled to work in Australia
Be comfortable operating as an independent subcontractor
You do not need to be a qualified tradesperson for every type of work, but you must have genuine experience and competence in the services you offer.

How It Works
We handle the customer lead, site visit and quoting process.
Once a job is approved, the scope of work and payment for completing the job are agreed with you upfront.
You choose whether to accept the work.
You then complete the agreed scope of work as an independent subcontractor.
Initially, work may be limited, but the opportunity exists to build a consistent and substantial workload based on your performance, availability and customer demand.
