What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards
Supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks
Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and reducing food waste
Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients
Assisting with menu planning and developing new dishes
Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time
Training and supporting kitchen team members
Monitoring portion control and presentation standards
Following workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
1+ years experience working in a kitchen
Proven ability to handle large sections and peak service times
Reliable, punctual, and consistent in performance
Helps improve service standards and efficiency
