What You'll Do
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will serve as a vital liaison between business and technology stakeholders, driving the successful delivery of business and functional requirements that transform systems, policies, and operational processes. Specialising in SAP Payroll solutions, you will lead the end-to-end technical requirement lifecycle,from initial concept and feasibility analysis to solution design, validation, and support handover. Working directly within an agile squad, your expertise will ensure that every delivered technical change is robust, fully tested, seamlessly integrated, and aligned with core business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and technical teams to validate business needs, translate them into actionable technical requirements, and build comprehensive design artifacts (e.g., technical specifications, process flowcharts).
Assess selected SAP Payroll solution designs to help business stakeholders identify operational change impacts, define scope, and proactively manage delivery risks.
Collaborate with stakeholders and squad teams to conduct feasibility analyses and capture functional requirements for new business initiatives.
Support end-to-end application testing—including new HR Service Packs (HRSP), system releases, custom functionalities, and baseline configurations—in partnership with dev and QA teams.
Prepare test scenarios and scripts, leading post-development solution validation, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Contribute to the creation of business process documentation, architectural process flows, and operational dashboards across technical and business functions.
Author critical support artifacts, including Support Strategies and Runbooks, and lead the deployment planning for new system changes.
Facilitate seamless handovers and knowledge transfer of newly delivered SAP Payroll solutions to ongoing production support teams.
What You'll Bring
Strong hands-on experience and domain knowledge in SAP Payroll processes, configurations, system impacts, and HR Service Pack (HRSP) release management.
Proven track record in translating complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications, deployment plans, and system workflow diagrams.
Demonstrated ability in designing test scenarios, managing regression and user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating complex technical solutions post-development.
Exceptional capability to act as a trusted liaison between technical delivery teams, squad members, and key business stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with experience conducting feasibility studies and evaluating how system changes affect existing policies, processes, and business operations.
Experience building support strategies, authoring runbooks, and leading technical knowledge transfer to operational support teams.
Proficiency in helping agile project teams manage scope, identify delivery bottlenecks, and mitigate technical risks.
Skill in creating clear, structured business process documents, process flow charts, and performance dashboards.
