We are seeking a motivated, organised, and passionate Family Day Care Coordinator to join our growing team and make a positive difference in the lives of children and educators.
About the Role
As a Family Day Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting educators, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of care across our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits and regular assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including enrolment forms, attendance records, educational programs, children’s portfolios, and incident reports.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to Family Day Care educators.
- Liaise with families to understand their childcare needs and assist with educator placements.
- Work closely with the Nominated Supervisor to maintain compliance and service quality.
- Organise and facilitate professional development opportunities and training for educators.
- Stay informed about industry developments and best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent early childhood qualifications.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Police Check
- Child Protection Certificate
- Current First Aid, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Computer skills
- Optional:
- Work experience in Child Care Industry

About You You are someone who: • Has experience in the early childhood or Family Day Care sector (coordinating experience is highly regarded). • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Has sound knowledge of Family Day Care regulations, policies, and compliance requirements. • Builds positive relationships with educators, families, and the wider community. • Possesses strong organisational and administrative skills. • Is proactive, motivated, and has a positive “can-do” attitude. • Is passionate about supporting educators and promoting high-quality outcomes for children and families. • Can work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. • Shares and upholds the values and philosophy of Diamond Kidzz Family Day Care.
