We are seeking an Assistant Director, Ministerial Support to join a newly established surge initiative focused on uplifting the quality, consistency and effectiveness of ministerial services across the Directorate.
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in strengthening how we support the Minister, working at the centre of ministerial business to drive quality assurance, build capability and embed best-practice approaches across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders, executive officers and stakeholders across the Directorate, you will lead efforts to improve the quality of ministerial briefs, correspondence and submissions, ensuring products provided to the Minister's Office meet the highest standards and are delivered within timeframes. You will provide expert advice, coaching and practical support to business areas, helping to build confidence and capability in ministerial processes while fostering a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

Highly Desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of ministerial business processes and the operations of a Minister's Office, including the preparation, coordination and management of ministerial briefs, correspondence and submissions.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months with possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
