Hey guys, we are currently looking for a roof sheeter to join our team at Better Roofing Australia. We are looking for someone who is available for a full time Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.
Unfortunately we do not take on people with student visas as we need some for more than 24 hours a week.
We work north and south of the river going to a different job every day or two.
The job role will involve moving metal sheets around the house, cutting them to length, laying and screwing the roof sheets to the roof, communicating and directing ground labourer, we will be able to teach ridging/ capping on site.
Some experience is essential. You do not have to know everything but basic laying skills will be needed.
We supply you with all your tools.
The only requirements are that you have;
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle
- White Card
- Working rights in Australia
-Good communication skills
Starting rate is $30-$50per hour depending and knowledge and skill level.
Please note we are very weather affected, we are unable to work in the rain as we can not grip the the roof sheets when they are wet. There will be days that we won't be able to work at all due to the weather (mostly in the winter months).
