As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering sourcing and vendor management initiatives that drive commercial value, manage risk, and strengthen supplier performance. You’ll work closely with the Head of Vendor Management, supporting both strategic priorities and day-to-day sourcing activity.
Working within a regulated banking environment, you’ll partner with business leaders, vendors, and teams across Legal, Risk, and Compliance to coordinate sourcing activity from market engagement through to contract execution. You’ll combine data-driven insights with strong stakeholder engagement to support better decision-making and improved supplier outcomes.
This is a varied, high-visibility role where you’ll contribute to both strategic initiatives and operational excellence, helping to lift capability, optimise processes, and enhance how we manage supplier relationships.

5–9 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor, or contract management

Experience working in complex or regulated environments

Strong analytical capability, with experience using reporting tools and dashboards to generate insights

Understanding of procurement governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks

The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions

Strong attention to detail, organisation, and commercial acumen

Financial services or banking experience will be highly regarded

A positive, proactive approach with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to work well with others
