Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Answer customer questions about menu items.
POS & Payments
Operate the POS system to process orders and payments.
Handle EFTPOS, and online orders.
Issue receipts and manage basic cash balancing.
Drinks (if trained)
Prepare coffee and beverages according to cafe standards.
Maintain consistency in drink quality.
Food Service
Serve food and drinks to customers.
Pack takeaway orders and delivery orders.
Cleanliness & Presentation
Keep the front counter, tables, and service area clean.
Clear tables and maintain a tidy dining area.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Stock & Display
Refill display cabinet with pastries and food items.
Monitor stock levels for takeaway cups, milk, etc.
Team Support
Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders.
Assist team members during busy service periods.
Opening & Closing Tasks
Assist with daily opening setup (machine, display, cleaning).
Perform closing duties such as cleaning equipment and restocking.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.01 per hour
