Premier Cranes & Rigging is currently seeking experienced Casual Truck Drivers to support our crane and logistics operations across Melbourne and surrounding areas.

About the Role
Working within our Logistics Team, you will be responsible for transporting cranes, counterweights, rigging equipment, and associated materials to and from customer sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
This role offers flexible casual hours with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of heavy vehicles in accordance with road transport legislation and company procedures
- Transporting crane components, rigging equipment, and related materials
- Conducting daily pre-start and post-operational vehicle inspections
- Ensuring loads are restrained in accordance with the National Load Restraint Guide
- Maintaining vehicle, trailer, chains, straps, and associated equipment
- Assisting with yard logistics and equipment movements as required
- Completing transport and operational documentation accurately and on time
- Representing Premier professionally on customer sites
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements and site-specific procedures
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- HC or MC Licence
- Demonstrated heavy vehicle driving experience
- Strong understanding of load restraint requirements
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Good communication and time management skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
Highly Regarded:
- Forklift Licence
- Experience transporting crane components, heavy equipment, or oversize loads
- Knowledge of NHVR and heavy vehicle compliance requirements
- Construction Industry White Card
