Event Company in Sydney looking for a warehouse assistant and team leader. Basic knowledge of loading and unloading of vans for preparation of events, cutting materials, using tape measure etc. Must be available for onsite work on Friday, Saturday and Sundays both day and night and be available to work in warehouse some Wednesday/Thursday warehouse work.
Currently hiring for a casual position for 4 weeks and then turning into full time position for the right candidate.
Day shifts: Working within a small team to setup events. You might be required to drive company van to venue or meet team on site. Day time ranges between 9am-5pm and can range onsite from Thursday to Sunday. We dont require someone to be available every shift or ever weekend as we can rotate staff.
Night shifts: Meeting on site or driving van to venue to packup materials when events finishes. This shift is 1 hour only paid on a minimum rate and depends on when the event concludes. Anywhere between 10.30pm-12am. Nights will range from Friday night to Sunday night.
Candidate must be:

-Must be able to comfortably carry 15kgs
-Energetic (work in fast paced environment)
-High attention to detail
-Comfortable to lead a team
-Basic Knowledge of cutting, measuring
Currently starting as casual at $30 per hour for 4 weeks - right candidate will become permanent on $40 per hour plus super.
