Located in the heart of Mooloolaba, our vibrant community club offers bistro dining, bars, gaming, TAB, Keno, functions and events, live entertainment and lawn bowls.
This role is ideal for someone with previous management experience in a similar club, pub, tavern or hospitality venue, who is confident overseeing daily operations across multiple areas of the business.
About the role
You will be responsible for leading venue operations during rostered shifts, supporting staff, maintaining compliance standards and delivering outstanding customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising staff
- Bar and bistro operations
- Gaming, TAB & Keno
- Functions and private events
- Live entertainment and venue activations
- Day-to-day venue operations, including opening and/or closing
- Maintaining RSA/RSG compliance
- Handling customer enquiries
- Supporting promotions and venue initiatives
- Evening and weekend work will be part of your roster.
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality management role.
- Current RSA, RSG and RMLV AML (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confidence working in a busy pub or club environment Gaming, TAB, Keno or functions experience (highly regarded)
- A positive, hands-on attitude
- Ability to stay calm, organised and professional during busy shifts
- Availability across days, nights and weekends
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in hospitality management
