We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our Adelaide team. The primary purpose of the role is to plan and schedule maintenance activities and administer the various maintenance systems utilised by the Fleet team.
This will involve working closely the Fleet Field Managers and Asset & Maintenance Manager to ensure the maintenance plans and schedules are in place so as to maximise asset availability and ensure disruption to the operating fleet is minimized. This role will also be required to run various maintenance reports to establish; maintenance work performed and asset compliance for the Drilling Services fleet.
Want to know a little more about the role? Typical day-to-day tasks include:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance work orders across the fleet.
- Manage work orders within the maintenance management system, ensuring accurate creation, planning, execution updates, and closure.
- Collaborate with Operations and Fleet personnel to ensure parts, resources, and equipment are available to complete maintenance activities within required timeframes.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and priorities to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work completed is accurately recorded and documented within the maintenance management system.
- Generate and analyse maintenance reports to track maintenance performance, asset reliability, compliance, and work completion status.
- Liaise with Operations, Fleet, and external stakeholders to resolve maintenance-related issues and escalate critical matters as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to maintenance planning, scheduling, and system utilisation.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Operations and Fleet personnel on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system functionality and maintenance best practices.
- Participate in regional and corporate CMMS/EAM implementation, upgrade, and improvement projects as required.
Key Capability Requirements:
- Assist with the entry of New Equipment and Assets as well as the modification to existing Assets in Oracle eAM.
- Maintain the Asset Hierarchy in Oracle eAM.
- Manage the ongoing Planning Support in relation to Master Data Management for Assets.
- A strong background of working with Oracle eAM within the Oracle E-Business Suite, vWorks and Safety Culture applications

- Solid previous experience working in a similar role,
- Strong computing skills,
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old), or willing to obtain one,
- Demonstrated personal commitment to safety,
- Team player.
