As a Peer Worker, you will work in the community to support people accessing our services who have a lived experience of mental health challenges to achieve their hopes and dreams. On a day to day basis you will:
- Deliver structured, time-limited, and goal-oriented support in line with CPS national guidelines, focused on improving daily functioning and achieving recovery goals.
- Collaborate with participants to co-design and implement individual recovery plans based on their strengths, needs, and aspirations.
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adapt supports as needed.
- Co-facilitate group programs that promote recovery, social connection, skill-building, and personal development.
- Provide capacity building support across key life domains including housing, employment, education, physical health, and social engagement.
- Connect participants with mainstream and community services to foster long-term independence.
