Opportunity :
An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly motived lawyer to work in property law in a busy Australian practice.
Responsibilities :
- Preparing advices and documentation on instruction from experienced lawyers and directors;
- involvement in providing timely, strategic, legal advice to clients; and
- assisting a number of senior lawyers and directors as required.
Requirements :
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- at least 5 years’ post admission experience;
- experience in property law including commercial and residential leasing, conveyancing, property development, option agreements, JV agreements, security and loan documentation, due diligence investigations and ancillary documentation for property related matters;
- a practical approach, while being keen to learn;
- an ability to build relationships and be client focused;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities simultaneously;
- an ability to work autonomously as well as part of multi-disciplinary teams; and
- be results driven, reliable and well presented.
