Disability Support Worker – High Support Autism & Behaviour Support (School & Community)
Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker who is calm, patient, and passionate about supporting children with complex needs?
Triniti Home Care is seeking dedicated and reliable Disability Support Workers to support a young NDIS participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3), Intellectual Disability, ADHD, anxiety, and complex behaviours across home, school, and community settings.

About the Role:
You will provide one-to-one support, assisting the participant to safely access school, therapy appointments, community activities, and daily routines while implementing positive behaviour support strategies.The successful applicant must be patient, calm under pressure, and able to respond appropriately to behaviours of concern while maintaining the participant's dignity and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one disability support in the home, school, and community.
- Assist with morning and afternoon school routines and safe school transport.
- Support attendance at therapy appointments and community activities.
- Follow Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Assessments, and Care Plans.
- Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
- Support communication using simple, clear instructions.
- Monitor participant safety during community access and transport.
- Assist with personal care when required.
- Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with the participant's family and multidisciplinary team.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' experience supporting people with Autism and complex behaviours.
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Fully insured and reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Highly DesirableExperience supporting participants with:

Shifts Available
- Morning school support.

- Weekday shifts with additional shifts available.
