We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Part-Time Sales Representative to grow our customer base across the food manufacturing, supplement, and beverage sectors in the surrounding suburbs of Melbourne.
This role is ideal for someone with B2B ingredient sales experience who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and representing innovative ingredient solutions to manufacturers and product developers.
You will work remotely from home while regularly visiting customers, attending meetings, conducting product presentations, and representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with food, beverage, and nutraceutical manufacturers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Melbourne and regional Victoria
- Promote and sell specialty food ingredients
- Manage an existing customer portfolio while actively prospecting new accounts
- Coordinate customer meetings, presentations, and product sampling
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events
- Work closely with the Sydney head office and technical/customer service teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous B2B sales experience in food ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients, beverage ingredients, or related industries
- Existing relationships within food manufacturing, supplement, or beverage manufacturing sectors highly regarded
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with regular local travel and customer visits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
